Bhai Bhai Dabeliwala Since 1991: A Story of Passion, Flavor, and Tradition

Every great journey begins with a single step. For Mr. Bharat Shah, a native of Kutch, his journey began in 1985 with nothing but a bicycle and a dream to share the authentic flavors of his hometown’s iconic dabeli with the world. Inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Kutch, Mr. Shah started selling dabelis from his cycle, serving locals and passersby who quickly fell in love with the delicious taste and homemade quality.

In 1991, Mr. Shah took a bold leap and opened the first Bhai Bhai Dabeliwala cart in Panigate, Baroda. The demand grew rapidly, leading him to upgrade to a shop where the legacy of Bhai Bhai Dabeliwala truly began. His commitment to freshness, hygiene, and flavor made the shop a landmark in Baroda, where food lovers returned time and again for their favorite street food.

Over the years, Bhai Bhai Dabeliwala continued to expand. In 2023, we opened our premium café in Akota, Baroda, offering a more refined experience while staying true to our roots. The Akota café combines the comfort of our classic dabeli with a modern, upscale setting, serving our customers with the highest quality and service.

Today, we’re not just a beloved local brand – we’ve become an iconic dabeli franchise, proudly offering over 100 unique varieties of dabeli, from traditional flavors to innovative fusion creations. Along with our Baroda locations, we’ve recently expanded to Surat at Parle Point, with more locations coming soon to bring our signature dabelis to even more cities.
